[Paraview] error in reading netCDF file

Hmm.  I'm pretty sure I've run into this before and I thought I submitted a bug.  I must not have though because I couldn't find it.  At any rate, I just raised a new one:

At any rate, try running your data through the "Plot Data" filter.  That will put the data in an X-Y line plot, which I think is the best way to view your data.  I also submitted a feature request to make this the default behavior:
