[Paraview] XDMF Function="$0[1:11]" problem

hi,

When I use the Function keyword to select just a subset of an array  
Paraview cashes without warning.

if I put    Function="$0[1:11]"  in the xdmf file Paraview dies.

What I'm doing wrong?
