[Paraview] extracting line data

Csv = Comma separated values, for example "x,pressure,..."  Could you perhaps be more specific on the problem since what you describe, to me, sounds exactly what the csv file should contain?

It possible to write the data is a simple text format like x, pressure,
... ?
To use with say gnuplot.
