[Paraview] Branding: Active element w/o pipeline browser

Hey Utkarsh, thanks for the reply.

I think if we had something like the Statistics View it may as well  
just be the Pipeline Browser. I was hoping for something that could be  
done through just interacting with the render view.

Right now, say I have multiple data sets loaded, each with a filter  
applied. If I select cells or points on one of the objects in the  
render view, then that item becomes the active one in the pipeline  
browser. What I was thinking of was something like this but a tool  
where you are not really selecting cells or points, but when you click  
on an object in the render view it makes that particular item the  
active one so you can adjust filter and display parameters. The system  
could be looking for a simple click (rather than a click-drag  
navigation cue) to perform this action.

P.S. In general I would like to see more ways to interactively probe/ 
query the data directly in the view, but I'll try to expand on that  
through uservoice...
