[Paraview] material properities

I think this is one of the features that never got re-implemented after the major overhaul for the 3.0 release.  There is not a lot of call for this feature, so it has been a low priority.

I have one of the .xml files from the wiki (SmoothPlastic for example), but when I am unable to browse for the material in the display->style->Material section of the object inspector.  Is there another way to apply material properties?
