[Paraview] Graphical rendering: troubleshooting

You seem to have OpenGL. However, the fact that glxgears is not
showing anything either is making me think that you OpenGL drivers are
not working properly. I don't have a lot of experience on Linux OpenGL
drivers, other than nVidia ones. Unless someone else here has an
answer, you will have to go to a Linux/X11/OpenGL related mailing
list. You can also try updating your Linux distribution or installing
another one...

In fact, now that you bring it, how can I check if my graphic card support OpenGL, or if I have it installed on my computer at all? I am using a built-in video GMA 950 on an Intel macbook. I have no idea how to update graphics drivers too. By now you probably figured out that I have limited Linux knowledge, therefore can you please provide me with command lines to run?
