[Paraview] animation pixelisation

I wonder if someone out there has written a DirectShow save plugin?  Then you could select your own codec and avoid the patent issues too.

I believe that we use the MSVC codec on Windows due to patent/license issues. I would recommend saving a set of images and using another tool to generate the movies. I heard from several people that they use
