you mean, using the _same_ paraView state-file, but different 'data'-files?
if so, this is not really possible.
However, state-files are XML, so it might be possible to update the
filenames in this state-files, but this looks like a ugly solution.

And i don't think that there is an easy way to _replace_ an (already)
loaded 'data'-files in paraView.
