[Paraview] seg fault while building paraview cvs

While building pv on a linux system (2.6.24-25-generic #1 SMP Tue Oct 20 06:49:12 UTC 2009 x86_64 GNU/Linux) I am getting a seg fault here:

Segmentation fault
make[2]: *** [Documentation/CMakeFiles/ParaViewOnlineHelp] Error 139

has anyone seen this before? any tips?
