[Paraview] Animating a large file

I am trying to make the camera fly around a very large data set. I turned
representation to outline, hoping that would let me setup the animation and
view it quickly (ie without having to wait 10 seconds for it to display each
frame). The idea being that once it looks like it is correctly orbiting the
outline, I could turn back on the points or surface and then do the waiting
while it rendered the actual animation. It seems like animating this little
cube shouldn't be that big of a deal, but is it doing something with the
underlying geometry even when it is in outline mode? Is there a better way
to setup the animation quickly?
