Only a file series or a single file can be opened by specifying a<br>
command line option, and not just a random set of multiple files. This<br>
is consistent with the gUI behavior which does not allow users to open<br>
multiple files (unless it's a file series) without hitting Apply after<=
br>
each reader.<br>
