[Paraview] Array Calculator --Replacement value problem

in a recent cvs of PV (v3.5),  i use the calculator
to take the log10 of values which contain negative values.
so i replace invalid results with another value.

here's the problem: no matter what value i put in the "Replacement value"
type-in
it stuffs a zero (the default) in the new created array.

is this a known issue?
