[Paraview] vts. I get quads. How do I get hexahedra?

I am guessing ParaView is interpreting your data as a hexahedral
curvilinear mesh. It is only displaying the surface of this volumetric
mesh. Try slicing or clipping the data. You can also apply the
"Extract Edges" filter to extract a wirefreame representation of the
volumetric mesh.
