[Paraview] Annotating time instead of timestep

HI,
   I set the simulation time to the timestep variable and it works for  
me.
Example line from my pvd file:
<DataSet timestep="296.8545" group="" part="0"  
file="rns157_Natfreq_slc01_Vtp_ni
d0000_fld0122.vtu"/>

I am not sure if there is a better way but this seems to work.
