[Paraview] 3D surface plot with x yz data

There is no way to set the active scalars or vectors. Rather, you are supposed to be able to select them directly in the object inspector. The issue with the tube filter is already a registered bug that was reported several months ago:

This is at least one more instance of a similar problem with the gradients filters. Those are the only ones that I am aware of.

Subject: [Paraview] 3D surface plot with x yz data

Hi All,

Is there a way to set a field data array to be the active
scalars/vectors in ParaView?

For instance in the tube filter, I would like to tell pv which data
array to use to vary the radius by scalar.

Maybe there are also other filters, which use the field data and by
default take the active one.
By default the active one seems to be the first one, I think.

Any hints would be appreciated,

Bryn
