[Paraview] How to get *.wrl files correctly displayed with paraview

I would like to learn about how to display the supported *.wrl files 
(VRML V2.0 format) in paraview 3.2.1.
I can load the data file and use glyphs to display individual atoms. 
However, paraview does not
recognize different types of atoms, which have different coloring in the 
VRML format.

Any ideas and suggestions on how to get paraview to display different 
types of atoms properly
are appreciated.
