[Paraview] ParaView Crashes with PLY files

[Berk Geveci]

I took a look at this. It looks like the PLY reader cannot handle
triangle strips. I could open a version of bunny that is not stripped
without problems. It looks like the reader is based on a PLY library
from Stanford and maybe needs updating...
