[Paraview] loading series of unstructured grid data files

Hello,

When I load a series of VTK poly data files named outN.vtk (where N is
the timestep number) into ParaView, everything works as expected. The
data from the first file is displayed, and the Animation Inspector
automatically recognizes the file sequence. However, this does not work
for a corresponding series of VTK unstructured grid data files fN.vtu.
Although the files are displayed as a series in the Open File dialog
box, only the first dataset is loaded and the Animation Inspector does
not recognize the file sequence. I tried renaming the files using
the .vtk extension instead of .vtu but that does not help. Is there any
way to get ParaView to properly recognize a series of VTK unstructured
grid data files? I want to avoid having to load each data file manually
because I have a lot of them.

Thanks, Julian C.
