[Paraview] OS X and paraview window

I'm on an OS X 10.5 Intel notebook.  At home, I have a second monitor  
I frequently work with.  I last ran paraview in that other monitor.   
Now, paraview won't show up on just the notebook monitor.  Any tips  
for getting it onto my visible desktop?  I've done detect displays and  
all other applications recognize that there is only one screen.
