[Paraview] Opacity not working properly

I have simple 2D .vti binary data. When I try to apply "opacity" for some
scalar field paraview almost hangs. I tried with both 3.2.1 an CVS version
in windows. I also checked with default shere source also. It almost hangs
or takes unexpectedly very long time.

Any help/suggestions will greatly be appreciated.
