[Paraview] XML-Data

Hello,

I'm trying to use Paraview as visualization solution for my simulation.
I would like to use a custom data format (at least until I'm familiar  
with Paraview).
Essential this format gives me blocks of raw binary data of floats   
(LittleEndian, 32Bit).
So, VTK-Legacy files are not an option.
Is there a way to fit this blocks into the VTK-XML files, without  
encoding or
compressing it?
As stated in the file-formats.pdf there should be a way to disable  
both features,
but how does this work?
