Welcome to the club! In general the steps are:

1) Get the data into the vis application
2) Decide what you want to find out about the data
3) Pick the visualization method that works with 1 and 2

At what stage are you? Does your FE program produce data in one of the formats 
understood by ParaView (see web page for a list of formats)?
