[Paraview] reading .raw files with vtk

Hi,

I'm quite new in leaning vtk (with tcl for the moment...), but i'd like 
to visualize 3D ".raw" data (from x-ray tomography).

Does anybody have a script example for that? That would be very helpfull.

I'm dealing with 8-bit, little endian data, with an extent of 512 
quadratic voxel of 2.8 um in each x,y, and z direction.
