[Paraview] home directory and open file

[Moreland, Kenneth]

The default directory to read files from is stored in the file
~/.ParaViewrc on Unix or in the registry on Windows.  If the information
has not been written or if the directory is invalid, the directory in
which pvserver was run is used.
