As far as I know, PV supports Ensight6 and Ensight Gold formats.
If you have your source code, I guess, you can easily (re)implement a
routine to write Ensight's newer formats (6 or Gold) since they are very
easy to understand and implement (take care with Fortran binary files if
you've been using Fortran language).
NOTE.: PV still has some deficiencies related to Ensight's readers. It seems
that PV features are only fully supported to VTK format's or to the formats
dictated by the team priorities. Thus, if you'd like to use some PV advanced
features (volume rendering animations, for example) I wouldn't suggest the
Ensight's formats.
Regards
Renato.

Assunto: [Paraview] Ensight Gold Converter
Hello,
I am new to the ParaView community. I have my source code and so far have
been using a converter for Ensight5 format. I understand ParaView only reads
Ensight Gold format (case). Before I start chaging things around, I wanted
to make sure this already does not exist. If someone knows of an existing
utility/method to convert to Ensight Gold format, please let me know.
Thanks for your help!
