[Paraview] cluster server-client connection

Hi,

I compiled ParaView on a 64-bit linux cluster with MPI support and would 
like to connect using a client on a 32-bit linux display w/o MPI.

I got the following error when attemping this;

/usr/global/paraview-cvs20060427/src/ParaView-cvs20060427/Servers/Common/vtkClientConnection.cxx, 
line 334 vtkClientConnection (0x3604e80): Failed to get correct ID to 
assign to this connection.
 
Connected to client
Client connection closed.


Do the ParaView version numbers 2.5/2.4 and 32/64 bit architectures need 
to match?
