[Paraview] mpicc build crashes GL window

I just built paraview with the mpicc on our cluster. The interface
crashes at about the time that the render portion of window ... um turns
black.  I assume this is when the GL stuff starts. A make test shows
similarly dismal results.  I can open windows on my workstation and even
GL things like glxgears from the compute nodes.
