[Paraview] A ParaView Guide Question

Hi Amy,

I noticed that you are the author of the ParaView Guide. We will  
order that guide immediately. However, we do have a question:

I have installed ParaView for one reason. We have started working  
with GeoFEST, a JPL 3D Finite Element code in tetrahedron grids. We  
needed a viewer for our work. Our output from GeoFEST is in ASCII and  
netCDF. Currently, all our work is serial for now.

We plan to use matlab to write a translator to output our GeoFEST  
results in Paraview format, namely VTU or VTK.

Will User Guide cover the details? If there is an internal document  
on details of a) XML ASCII and binary, and b) VTU ascii and bianry ,  
could you please pass the detailed documentation.

I did install ParaView on Windows. With patience, I should be able  
install on OS X today. I'll also try to find a linux machine too this  
weekend.
