[Paraview] xml meta file

Hi,
I have lots of big data in binary format. Is it possible to write a meta
(xml) file that would load them into PV without copying the data into
one huge XML file with the data appended? The VTK spec says the parallel
format would load pieces, but they seem to be required to be VTK format
too. My binary data is pure raw e.g. doesnt have required headers,
something I hoped to make up for in a meta file.
