[Paraview] cannot connect server and client

Paraview is very finicky about version numbers.  We have tried to run
Paraview Server at 2.4.3 and Paraview Client at 2.4.4 and it fails.  For me
at least, the command "paraview -V" is worthless as it returns only "
ParaView2.4" and not the revision (or third) digit.
