[Paraview] How does the PVPickFilter list the order of the points

All,
Does anyone know how the pick filter lists the order of the points of a hexahedral cell?  I need to verify the connectivity of hexahedral cells.  I was under the impression that I could use the pick filter to pick a cell and view the connectivity but I'm not getting the connectivity I expected.
