[Paraview] volume rendering in ParaView

I want to know the volume rendering algorithm in ParaView, but I didn't found any key information of volume rendering in the 《ParaView user's guide》.Who can tell me the algorithm used by ParaView ? And where can I get the detail information about how ParaView render a volume?
