[Paraview] Re: ParaView volume rendering

Hi Dan,

This issue is that we don't want to compete with ourselves.  VolView, a 
Kitware-produced proprietary application supports structured volume 
rendering, and putting the same functionality into our own open-source 
application didn't make much sense to us.
