[Paraview] paraview requires a decent video card?

Hello,

We've been trying to install Paraview 2.0.3 on Mandreva 2005 without success. 
Everytime we try to build, using OGL and Mesa, or Mangled Mesa, we cannot 
successfully complete the build. We've tried installing vtk libraries 
seperately but that doesnt seem to work. Does Paraview require a decent video 
card? On our computer we have a ATI Rage IIC, which is pretty old. Thanks for 
any help.
