[Paraview] error building paraview2.2.1 on Itanium 2 ia-64

Dear all,
I am trying to build paraview-2.2.1 on a Itanium 2 ia-64 running Linux
2.4 with gcc 2.96.
I have installed cmake version 2.0.3 for Linux-ia64. It gives the
following message when running make:

[tfoggia at ticino paraview-2.2.1Build]$ make

gmake: *** No targets specified and no makefile found.  Stop.
make[2]: *** [maketcltk] Error 1
make[1]: *** [Utilities/TclTk/CMakeFiles/maketcltk.dir/all] Error 2
make: *** [all] Error 2


The same message appears again after a complete cvs update and rebuilt
of cmake.
Seems like cmake doesn't create the makefile for Utilities/TclTk/.
