[Paraview] Mac OS 10.4.2 build trouble

OK - from my last message, update to XCode tools 2.0, and the compile went fine. However, I then
got a pile of relocation errors such as:

/usr/bin/ld:
/Applications/ParaView/paraview-2.2.1_build/bin/libvtkKWParaView.a(vtkPVBooleanKeyFrame.o)
relocation overflow for relocation entry 871 in section (__TEXT,__textcoal_nt) (displacement too large)

I did a bit of looking and found some lists elsewhere that seemed to suggest adding -mlongcalls to
the gcc and g++ flags, but I ended up getting an invalid option error:

Building object file ProcessUNIX.o...
/Applications/ParaView/paraview-2.2.1/VTK/Utilities/kwsys/ProcessUNIX.c:1: error: invalid option
`longcalls'

so either I had the flag wrong, or this is not it. Any ideas - perhaps I goofed elsewhere?
