[Paraview] Stereoscopic viewing

Dear Amy / list,

Sorry for bouncing into the discussion, but we are currently trying to get
the stereo to run in parallel mode, but with no luck (as you mail suggests
;-).

Is it not possible at all to set up machines-files /.xml files to get four
rendering servers to show a widescreen stereoscopic image (two projectors
for left eye, two projectors for right eye) ?

And if not - is there any where in the code you could point us to a simple
hack - after all it is fairly easy to introduce stereo, just be setting up
the right async viewing frustrums...

Please help - you are our only hope...

Cheers,

Michael

Yes, if you are running ParaView in single-process mode; it does not work
in parallel. Use the --stereo command-line argument: ./paraview --stereo.

Does Paraview support stereoscopic viewing (i.e. double images for use
with stereoscopic glasses?)

    Thanks,
    Teresa
