[Paraview] cutting

Hi,

I made a large cube consisting of  8 small cubes. (Voxels).
filled with 8 3d-Vectors .

Having in mind that cutting reduces the dimensionality, I made a cut and 
then
produced some arrows (glyphs) for my vector-field.
But the arrows are still pointing  to 3d-directions?

I expected that the arrows lie only inside the cutting plane?

perhaps I forgot to use some other filter???
