Just a brief footnote here, the version of Jean's vtkLEA code that's on the 
web is not working 100% correctly with the cvs head of Paraview (or rather 
the head of branch ParaView-2-0 which I built a couple of days ago). It does 
give an output, but looks wrong and crashes when you twiddle the parameters.

I am hoping to fix this issue in the coming week and with luck put the code 
in a vtkCSCS cvs repository as soon as possible.
