[Paraview] Visual C++ 6 and shared lib build

Hello All,

Just wondering if anyone knew what Visual C++ 6.0 is 'doing' under the
following circumstance when building paraview.

Static lib build = change some code, recompile, no problem
Shared lib build = change some code, try to recompile, Visual 6.0
'thinks' about something for about 10 minutes and then starts to compile
files.

Does anyone know what Visual 6.0 is 'thinking' about for 10 minutes when
building shared lib? Generating indexes or resolving something???
