[Paraview] Basic problem installing Paraview

Hi,

I just downloaded the precompiled version of Paraview and when launching 
ParaView I get the error message :
ParaView: relocation error: ParaView: undefined symbol: glXChooseVisual .

For information, I am using the Linux kernel 2.4.18-3 with Mesa-3.4.2-7.

Can somebody help me ?
