[Paraview] Picking facilities?

Hello,

I notice that ParaView doesn't yet to have pickers that you can use 
with your mouse to select objects in the scene without doing so
via the selection window or select menu. A problem may arise with 
the window/menu approach if you have a huge number of objects, or 
you don't even know which name correspsonds to which object. Is this 
going to be a feature? Thanks for letting me know.
