[Paraview-developers] filter to extract coordinate points of a solid object

Hi All,
I was wondering if anybody knows about existing filter(s) which can give me
the coordinate of points for an object volume or surface ?

For example if I create a object "Sphere", is it possible to apply any
filter to know the coordinate points for the entire volume (or surface) of
the solid sphere (or hollow sphere)?
