Sorry, I completely misread the post. I thought you had disabled MPI, not enabled it.
Does paraview work properly when you manually run N pvservers rather than using the multicore option in the gui?

Multi-core uses MPI, but you have turned it off.

Hi all,
Thanks to the lord and ParaView mailing list! I finally had a successful compilation of ParaView Development 3.12 (32bit) with USE_MPI on by Visual Studio 2010 on 64bit Windows.
However, after I enabled Multi-Core and restarted the ParaView, it always failed to start.
Has anybody encountered such situation? How did you solve it?
