It is wonderful to hear that another person is running ParaView master in parallel!  (I have also had the same sigh and glance).  For me, all testing is done in parallel.  (About a year ago, I found that all - and I mean all - parallel ParaView was broken.  It was promptly fixed.)  I just ran through the wiki "release testing" page yesterday - in parallel.  This was on 8 cores/processes, Linux client.  No new bugs have appeared, and it seems as good as 3.12.  Note that I turned the summary panel off, and it is to be removed from 3.14 in the next few days.  (It is scheduled for 4.0).

How much time do we have (this was the first warning we've had, and 3.12 only just went out it seems)

Can I add better support for VTK_USE_SYSTEM_HDF5 (could upgrade the vtkhdf5 too but that requires a lot of nasty cmake work) as well push some changes we made for our steering framework?

If I wanted to push branches, what would be my deadline for getting them into the next release?

Are you sure paraview's ready for a next release. Seems unstable to me. Always getting the error receiving tag messages and having pv shut down on me, (never quite sure if the server goes down first, or the client).

Do any of you ever actually use paraview in parallel? (Sometimes I wonder if I'm the only one. <sighs deeply and glances across at the visit manual> :)

We are getting ready to release ParaView 3.14 and part of that involves updating the documentation.

If you have made a change since 3.12 that affects ParaView's UI, please either:
* update the wiki yourself to reflect the new feature
* email me with a description of the feature so that I can make the change
