[Paraview-developers] Default representation for sources and filters

Hi,

 

We have Server Manager XML hints to set the Default view type. Similarly
I added the feature to support the default representation type through
XML hints, e.g.

 

<Hints>
   <Representation type="Wireframe" />

 </Hints>

 

We would like to use this in order to set a default representation for
our sources/filters.

 

I have attached a diff for pqPipelineRepresentation to enable this.  I
have also attached a patch to the reader plugin that can show an example
of this being used.  

 

Please can we get this added to the main ParaView repository?
