John,

I cannot reproduce what you are seeing.

Here's what I found with two different plugins on a Mac OS X debug build:

Plugin Double - An XML plugin with a double vector property and no domain
range specified
Plugin Int - A plugin with a custom VTK class and an int vector property
with no domain range specified

ParaView v3.98-RC3 (commit f1b2a9d0539bdc06b7ce2bd762f06eb8a8d48d29)
- Plugin Double - GUI element appears
- Plugin Int - GUI element appears

ParaView v3.98.0 (commit 6c5f016e52dce5b78e0ab4de20bb098c2606ecb4)
- Plugin Double - GUI element appears
- Plugin Int - GUI element appears

What's the SHA-1 hash of the ParaView commit you are building?

Cory
