Ignore that previous email. I made a new control that's a bit simpler than the pqDisplayArrayWidget which does what I want.

Subject: [Paraview-developers] Simple field array display

I have a custom panel upon which I want to display a drop down list of field arrays. In the past I made a pqDisplayArrayWidget (which is actually awful), but someone moved it into pq proper from the point sprite plugin (it requires a representation object to work from).

What I need is a simple combo that displays all the arrays on a (source) proxy - I don't have any domains setup, or other stuff, just a pointer to a proxy, no properties, nothing. I'd like to simply assume that this is a source and display all point/cell arrays on it.

Is there a simple widget which will do this?

I'm lummoxed if I can find one

thanks

JB
