You expect me to remember stuff from MONTHS ago? Um ... yep, good point. Follow Ken's excellent directions rather than my ramblings!

We talked about putting the apply button in the middle between the filter properties and the display properties during the summit (it's mentioned in the notes here: http://paraview.org/ParaView3/index.php/Summit_May_24,_2011#User_Interface_Improvements). The rational is that there is a flow on the order of operations to create a pipeline object: set the object properties, then apply, then set the display properties. We felt that the summary panel should follow this flow.
I agree with the comments about the show scalar bar, rescale, and color editor buttons, although I would advocate always showing it on the next line after the "Color By" line when it is shown rather than show them always somewhere.

I like it so far. One thought is that, as much as possible, I would like to see consistency. For instance, put the Apply buttons at the top. Also, have the "Show Scalar Bar" available on all 3d windows. Maybe make the button smaller, and have the "show scalar bar", "Rescale", and "Color Editor" on the same line?

Hello everyone,
I have been working on implementing Summary Panels for ParaView 4.0. I have written a small page on the ParaView developers wiki describing the implementation here: http://paraview.org/ParaView3/index.php/Summary_Panels.
I am looking for any comments/feedback/criticisms anyone may have so that they can be addressed at this early stage of development.
Thanks,
Kyle
