[Paraview-developers] git questions

As we transition to git, are we going to have any lessons on git best
practices?

How will pre-commit checks be handled?  Will we be notified of commit errors
when we make local commits, rather than waiting until we push to the
server?  Will this be automatically configured, or is it up to the developer
to install the commit checking scripts themselves?
